You’ll be part of Group Finance where you, together with your colleagues, will have the overall responsibility for all aspects within the consolidated financial reporting.

You will work from our head office in Fredericia with reference to the CFO.

Responsibilities

As our IFRS Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Offering IFRS and accounting advice to the controlling and accounting team on M&A transactions and other complex transactions
  • Be an IFRS partner on our investment cases
  • Overall responsibility for our IFRS accounting and reporting
  • Close dialogue and cooperation with Group Accounting in Germany and our group auditors
  • Participating in the preparation of the group interim financial reports, annual report, and accounting manual

Competencies

You are expected to: 

  • Have a master’s degree in accounting and auditing, e.g., cand.merc.aud or state-authorised public accountant
  • Have experience as an accountant or financial controller in an international group
  • Have theoretical and practical experience with IFRS
  • Can translate IFRS technical issues into understandable conclusions for management and your colleagues in various departments
  • Be familiar with and have experience in the use of the usual IT tools within the Office package and be able to learn new systems. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is an advantage
  • Fluency in English is required
